15 questions covering routing, switching, VLANs, STP, ACLs, and network fundamentals. Randomized on every attempt.
Answering questions forces your brain to retrieve information, proven to improve retention far better than rereading.
See exactly which domains need work so you can focus your study time where it matters most.
Familiarity with the question format and time pressure means fewer surprises on exam day.
CCNA 200-301 is not a memorisation exam. It tests whether you can design, configure, verify and troubleshoot a working network, and its simulation items require reading live IOS output under time pressure.
This test covers the CCNA ground: routing and switching fundamentals, VLANs and trunking, spanning tree, access control lists, and the IP addressing and subnetting that appears throughout every domain rather than in one section.
The exam runs 120 minutes with roughly 100 to 120 questions. The passing score is approximately 825 out of 1000, one of the highest in the Cisco portfolio, and Cisco does not publish the exact cutoff.
Subnetting speed is the single biggest differentiator. Candidates who can subnet correctly but slowly lose time they need for simulations, and candidates who freeze on simlets usually have not practised interpreting show command output.
